The registration page can also be used to pay dues. Thanks Randy Selman for your work getting this up and running!

St. Lucie Gator Regional Launch #1 (SLUGR-1) is just 12 days away. If you haven't done so already, PLEASE register ASAP!
For those of you debating whether or not to go or holding off to see what the weather will be like, I have the following announcements:
(1) If the weather forces us to scrub half or more of the scheduled launch, the meet will be rescheduled at a later date and location and registrants will be automatically re-registered at no cost.
(2) Registrants who for whatever reason do not attend will have their $25 fee applied to annual FSA membership dues.
(3) Registration fee includes two $5 raffle tickets, with several hundred dollars worth of raffle prizes, including the kits (note the $60 Launch Pad Nike-Ajax) and 38mm Aerotech reloads (I161W, I357T, I300T and I154J) shown in the photo. Also included are two NAR annual memberships $62 value) and a 10-foot length of 8-inch diameter stretchy Carriff fabric sock for fiberglassing 12 inch tubes ($30 value). Additional prizes will likely be forthcoming, and rocket kit & motor vendors will be on site.
(4) If you're still not convinced, remember this is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY facility with indoor flush toilets, easy vehicular access, 120VAC power and mowed setup & pad areas! Overnight camping with full RV hookups are available for $30 per night. We've worked out the launch system issues and will have plenty of pad capacity. Access to the site will begin at 8:30; range will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM, site closes at 7 PM.
(5) We are still working out the details for food & drink service - expect an announcement later this week.
(6) Winds are expected to be fairly light out of the east-southeast, towards the orange grove. We have several loud pull-pin sonic locators available to borrow for attachment to recovery systems with cable ties. In the event of rockets landing on the roof of the Main Arena or other inaccessible areas that we can't reach with a rod & reel, the Fairgrounds maintenance team will recover them the following week.
We're hoping our friends from SCRA, NEFAR, BARS and TTRA will join us!
Register for SLUGR-1 at https://31.encompasspro.com/
Hope to see you there!

Come Fly With Us!

The next launch at Dyer Park will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 10:00 am til 6:00 pm at Dyer Park.

FSA Launch Site Location: Dyer Park is located at the intersection of Haverhill Road and Dyer Boulevard in West Palm Beach, just south of SR 710 (Beeline Highway). Exit I-95 at Blue Heron Blvd; go west approx 1/4 mile to N. Military Trail, then go south approx 1/4 mile to Dyer Blvd; west about 1/4 mile to the SOUTH park entrance, where it says "Winding Waters Preserve". Continue west along the access road toward the Model Airplane Field past the entrance to Winding Waters. Turn right at the first intersection & follow the service road north; look for our pop-ups on top of the hill to the west of the road.

Click on the Dyer Park Site Info link at upper left for more information and an aerial photo of the site, which is approximately a one square mile total area.

If the Dyer site is unavailable we will relocate to the LaBelle field. We set up off Wellington Parkway and Sycamore, which is a couple of miles west of TFM's site. It is more open and has easier access  and larger mowed swales for parking.

Tripoli Ft Myer's launch site is located 11 miles east of LaBelle, FL.  Take Highway 80 west from Clewiston about 7 miles to the flyover exit to Labelle. Continue west on SR80 and turn south onto Wellington Parkway. Go to where the pavement ends at Sycamore Road and turn left, we weill set up along the road.

Club memberships: We have club membership forms available at the field, or click on the "Membership Info" link. Dues are $25/yr for individual/family. Daily flight fee for non-members is $5.

Email Rick Boyette at [email protected] for more information about joining NAR & FSA.
